Jacksonville State 49, Ole Miss 48 Game - Watch Video, Gamecock's Upset

Great Upset Match between Jacksonville State's 48-47 double overtime win over the Ole Miss Rebels. Jacksonville State quarterback Coty Blanchard firing a short pass to running back Calvin Middleton, who takes it in for the score. This happened one play after Blanchard's 30-yard touchdown pass on fourth-and-15 in double overtime.

Some other notes from the Gamecocks' upset in Oxford:

• This was the 19th time since 2004 that an FCS school has beaten an FBS school.

• Ole Miss is the first SEC team to lose to FCS school since Mississippi State lost to Maine in 2004.

• The Rebels lose to a team outside the FBS since Nov. 29, 1945, when they lost 31-6 to Tennessee-Chattanooga.

• Entering Saturday, teams currently in the SEC had been 35-1-1 against teams from the Ohio Valley Conference. The only loss by an SEC team against an OVC team entering was in 1907, when Southeast Missouri State beat Ole Miss in 1907 (neither conference was in existence then).

• Jacksonville State beats an FBS opponent for the first time since a 31-28 win at Arkansas State in 2001. The Gamecocks are now 4-13 against FBS teams.

• Jacksonville State entered the game ranked 17th in the FCS Coaches' Poll. JSU finished 16th in the poll last season.
