Akshay Kumar concocts a royal treat: As part of his forthcoming show MasterChef India, Akshay Kumar and his team of chefs recently took the challenge of cooking for the King at Udaipur, Sriji Arvind Mewar. The King hosted this royal challenge at his palace in Udaipur the City Palace of Mewar. He got his own shahi kitchen open for the contestants to choose their ingredients for this shahi treat.

Akshay met the King and was greeted with a warm welcome and stayed at the palatial hotels of Mewar. For this royal edition of the show, Akshay has sported a kurta-sherwani worth Rs 17 lakh. Studded with diamonds and pearls, the outfit has been designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. MasterChef India starts airing on Star Plus from October 16.
