Hello, Pretty

The weather in Boston right now is a lovely combination of snow, ice, and rain.  Delightful.  I'm just wearing rain boots every day at this point.  What else can you do?  (aside from curl up in the fetal position on the floor and cry.  been there, done that.)  Anyways, the shoes I really want to be wearing right now look something like these babies.


Dolce Vita Jade Crisscross Wedge Sandals, $191 at shopbop.com: These are fabulous.  They're made of nubuck leather, which has this gorgeous suede-like finish, the coral-red is such a fun, summery color in the middle of all this grey cloudiness going on right now, and the zipper and tassel in the back are so sassy!  The whole vibe is the perfect combination of modern lines and retro styling, and I'm loving the 4.5 inch wedges with the platform.  I not so secretly love platforms and totally have a secret thing for wedges.  Maybe it's just my epic clumsiness, but they're so much easier for me to walk in.
