Backstage at Chloe

So I know that I already waxed poetic about the clothes at Chloe, but it's time for me to gush over the makeup. It was '80s inspired, like everything else this season, but somehow managed to look modern at the same time.

I can't find the exact products used anywhere, but I scoped out a few alternatives for you guys. Lashes were curled and heavily coated with mascara (try shu uemura's eyelash curler, $19 at sephora.com and Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara, $22 at bobbibrown.com). Taupe shadow was brushed over the lids (I like MAC Wedge, $14.50 at maccosmetics.com), and a shimmery gold shadow was used to softly line the inner half of the eye (try MAC's Femme Fi, $14.50 at maccosmetics.com). Then a brown shadow was brushed under the outer haf of the lower lashline and onto the outer half of the upper lashline, and then applied to the outer half of the eyelid, reaching out almost to the eyebrow above and on the side (try MAC's shadow in Espresso, $14.50 at maccosmetics.com). Contour the cheeks and temples with a deep bronzer (try Benefit's Hoola, $28 at sephora.com), and commence looking amazing.
