Jason Wu: The look was soft and ethereal. Instead of foundation, blue-tinged (to tone down yellow) corrector lotion was rubbed into the skin, and dusted over with a white matte powder. The blush was an unnamed Revlon lipstick in bluish-lilac. Brows were elongated and darkened with powder and pencil, and lips were stained with both a wine and a burgundy lipstick from Revlon's Passion Fusion lip quad, coming out in fall. The Revlon metallic shadow quad in Seashell, ($10.81 at Americanrx.com) was used on the eyes, with the pale pink shadow brushed on the lids, and topped with a wash of the pale grey shadow.--Source: Allure Beauty Reporter.
This seems like a pretty easy look to dupe. Put your hair into a low, center-parted pony tail, keep your face relatively bare, and brush on a lilacy-plum blush (try MAC's Beauty Powder blush in Breath of Plum). Then stain your lips with a reddish, berry lipstick, strengthen the brow with a brow pencil (I like Anastasia's Perfect Brow Pencil), and layer pale pink and pale grey shadows (try Benefit's Cream Shadow in Samba-Dy Loves Me and Skinny Jeans)onto your lids. Thakoon: Blend Nars Sheer Glow foundation all over your face and onto your eyelids. Since the Sheer Glow foundation is new for next fall, try your usual foundation/tinted moisturizer with a drop of MAC Strobe Liquid mixed in. Buff Nars powder blush in Gilda onto your cheeks. Line your eyes with brown pencil (try Urban Decay 24-7 liner in Bourbon), and use your shadow brush to smudge the liner into a sheer wash over the lid and all the way up to your brow, and smudge it a little beneath the lower lash line. Line your eyes with Nars Stilo Liquid Eyeliner Pen--or if you don't have a time machine to transport to next fall to buy this, try Lancome Artliner in Noir. Pencil in your brows as usual, and dab a bit of Rosebud Salve on your lips.--Source: Allure Daily Reporter.
So basically: bare face, coral/lilac blush, neutral eyeshadows, strong brows, and either a natural or berry-stained lip. Gorgeous!
